Original artwork from photographs offers a wonderful way to preserve memories. All
my artwork is hand-rendered using pencil (both colored and graphite pencils) I pull the relevant details from a
photograph while deleting the clutter that makes a photograph less than an ideal image.
Special memories happen every day - it's rare to capture that moment in

ruins your satisfaction of the picture.
With original artwork, a cluttered background can be removed
and bring the focus on the aspect of the photo that really matters: the person. It is possible to
fix blemishes, reposition hands, add people to create a grouping, fix flyaway hairs. The
list of results that can be obtained from a single snapshot is endless. Sometimes the most basic snapshot
turns out to be the most stunning portrait.
